Safety management knowledge of temporary electricity use in gasifier construction site

● The electrical operation personnel on the gasifier construction site must be the personnel who have received professional training, passed the examination and hold the electrician's special operation certificate.

● The temporary power for construction must be connected at the place designated by the owner, and the power line shall be well insulated and shall not touch the wet ground. It is better to use bamboo pole to support the cable. If it is buried, obvious marks shall be made. When crossing the road, steel pipe sleeve shall be set for protection.

● The construction site and working places shall be equipped with sufficient lighting lamps. The lighting lines shall be well insulated, orderly and firmly fixed. The lines shall be regularly inspected and maintained.

● All electrical equipment must ensure correct wiring and good neutral or grounding. Especially for construction power, it must be grounded or connected to zero, and equipped with leakage protection device.

● Hand held electric tools and mobile appliances must be well insulated and equipped with leakage protection device.

● The riveting and pipe welding platform and tool room for construction must be well grounded.

● No live working is allowed on the power supply line of electrical equipment (no matter high voltage or low voltage). After power failure, the fuse should be locked or removed at the power switch. Meanwhile, the signboard of "no switching on, someone working" should be hung. No one is allowed to take away the signboard or send power at any time before the work is finished or permission is obtained.

● The construction lighting of the device shall be considered uniformly and managed by a specially assigned person. It is strictly forbidden to connect the lighting with wires on site.

● The voltage of the walking lamp shall not exceed 36V, and the walking lamp shall be equipped with a metal protective cover. When working in wet place, pit, well, channel or container equipment, the voltage of walking lamp shall not exceed 12V.

● It is forbidden to set up temporary power supply lines on metal scaffolds. If necessary, insulating bars should be set up and insulating tapes should be added to prevent the power supply lines from being worn out and the scaffolds from being electrified. The scaffold shall be firmly grounded.

● When using electric tools, the operator should stand on the insulating board or dry wood board. When working in a humid place or on a metal structure or in a metal container, equipment or storage tank, insulating shoes and gloves should be worn. The power lines of welding machines and other electric tools used temporarily on the construction site must be equipped with leakage protectors.

● On site electrical equipment and tool rooms shall be placed in groups and protected by sheds. The single machine should be equipped with cover, and be rainproof, lightning proof, moisture-proof and waterproof.

● Each electrical equipment on the construction site shall use a separate switch, one for each machine. It is strictly forbidden to use the same switch to directly control more than two electrical equipment.
