Design of bottom interlayer and top insulation layer of atmospheric storage tank


◇ About the insulating layer at the bottom of the atmospheric storage tank: laying common strength foam glass brick between the main container bottom plate and the secondary container bottom plate as the bottom insulation layer and bearing the weight of the main container and medium, and using the pearlescent sand reinforced concrete ring beam (the steel bar is stainless steel) to distribute the load in the large annular area just below the main vessel wall. High density foam glass bricks are used in the lower part of concrete ring beams.


◇ The bottom insulation layer of tank is from top to bottom in sequence: main container bottom plate (edge plate + medium plate) - concrete leveling layer - pearlescent concrete ring beam, ordinary strength foam glass brick (same floor) - concrete leveling layer - Thermal angle protection floor - concrete leveling layer high strength foam glass brick, ordinary strength foam glass brick (same floor) - concrete leveling layer - secondary container floor. ◇ Heat insulation layer along the side wall of main vessel. A whole circle of combined flexible elastic layer (cotton cloth, elastic cotton cloth, cotton cloth and glass fiber cloth from inside to outside) is set on the outer wall of the main vessel to buffer the side pressure of pearlite. The annular space between the main vessel and the secondary vessel is filled with dense pearlite to isolate the transmission of cold energy from the side wall of the main vessel.


◇ The annular interlayer of the tank is filled with pearlite to maintain good thermal insulation performance and low daily evaporation rate. During the commissioning period, dry nitrogen is filled to keep the insulation material dry.


◇ The insulation layer of the heat angle protection layer is sandwiched between the cylinder wall panel of the secondary container and the heat shield protection part. The foam glass brick is built in the 200mm annular space as a cold insulation material and support to isolate the cold load transfer in the side wall of the storage tank. The low temperature glue is used as the binder between the foam glass brick layer and the layer of the thermal angle insulation insulation layer, and the position of the sealing ring plate at the upper end of the heat insulation protection layer is filled with glass fiber cotton with a thickness of 50mm after compression.


◇ Lay 10 layers of glass fiber cotton on the suspended roof, the thickness of the single layer of glass fiber cotton shall not be less than 100 mm, and the total thickness after laying shall be within the range of 800 MM-1000 mm, so as to maintain good thermal insulation performance on the top of the main vessel.
