Radioactive risk control and reduction measures in construction of LNG air heated gasifier


● During the construction of LNG air heated gasifier, the personnel for radiographic inspection must have qualified qualification for radiographic operation.


● Ray operation is strictly prohibited in the daytime. If it is necessary to operate in the daytime Doer to special needs, strict safety protection measures shall be taken, and the operation shall be approved by the engineering department.


● Set up warning area at the radiation operation site, and hang radiation warning flag, warning red light and warning sound device.


● There is a special person around the warning area.


● The radiographic inspection personnel shall wear the protective equipment meeting the standard and carry the personal dose detector during the operation.


● The construction safety department and relevant units shall be informed before the ray operation, and the operation can be carried out in a specific area after approval.


★  Risk and mitigation measures of limited space operation and poisoning asphyxia


● for operation in limited space, the work ticket must be handled.


● The limited space shall be supervised by a special person, and the internal and external communication methods and signals shall be specified.


● The entrance and exit in the limited space are barrier free to ensure unobstructed.


● After opening the entrance of the limited space, natural ventilation should be carried out for more than two hours. If necessary, forced ventilation should be adopted. Operators should wear respirators.


● The operators shall wear the required labor tooling and protective equipment.


● When necessary, operators can work in containers in shifts.


● Register and count personnel, tools and materials after operation to prevent leaving them in the equipment.


● When necessary, a certain number of emergency rescue equipment and fire fighting equipment shall be provided outside the limited space.
