Air pressure, air tightness test and vacuum test of outer tank before tank construction
1) Conditions to be met before outer tank air tightness test of storage tank:
◇ the temporary rubber pipeline connection of air inlet is completed. The pressure gauge and vacuum gauge are qualified after calibration.
◇ the test air compressor is installed in place and can meet the test air consumption.
◇ the pressure reducing safety valve and vacuum safety valve have been adjusted.
◇ close all air outlets not used for tank air tightness test with blind pipe.
◇ close the isolation valve
◇ all anchor belt plates are welded. The outer tank door plate is closed.

◇ slowly flush the air pressure into the tank to 31.3kpa to conduct the strength air pressure test of the outer tank; It is qualified if the test pressure is maintained for 1 hour without leakage and abnormal deformation of the tank.
◇ reduce the pressure to 29kpa and maintain the pressure. Check all welds on the outer tank with soapy water. It is qualified if there is no leakage.
5) Expiratory valve test
◇ remove the blind plate at the air outlet of the lower shell of the pressure breather valve, slowly rush the air pressure into the inner cylinder again to 27kpa, open the valve, increase the tank pressure until the safety valve is jacked up, and record the pressure at this time. Reduce the pressure until the safety valve is closed.
◇ repeat this action for all expiratory valves in turn to ensure that each expiratory valve is closed by the isolation valve and opened by the new isolation valve.
◇ note: if the expiratory valve opens too early or fails to open at 27kpa, the valve opening test shall be repeated more than twice. If the valve fails to open or opens too early, reset it according to the manufacturer's instructions, and then repeat the tank pressure test.
◇ after all expiratory valves pass the inspection, the pressure in the tank can be adjusted to atmospheric state
