Ltd liquid level temperature density detection anti roll system, LNG storage tank
The liquid level temperature density meter is equipped with a vibrating density probe, a RTD temperature probe and a reference switch installed at the bottom of LNG storage tank.
Ltd instrument is composed of mechanical drive unit, a multi-sensor probe and field processing unit with microprocessor. Under the instruction of microprocessor, the probe is driven by motor to move vertically in LNG during the operation of Ltd. the movement mode of the probe can be set to automatic or manual mode. The sensors in the probe can measure the liquid level, temperature and density signals respectively. The measurement signal is transmitted to the control room through the internal bus through the field processing unit, and converted into RS485 or MODBUS signal through the conversion card. The liquid level temperature density instrument must be able to be maintained online and can be withdrawn under normal operation or pressure of LNG storage tank. Therefore, the level temperature density instrument must be isolated by full bore ball valve, and diaphragm valve can be added to facilitate maintenance when the mechanical part is stuck.
Preventive measures for LNG layered rollover
① Detect the density and temperature of LNG liquid at different heights
In order to detect the stratification of LNG tank, one of the servo level meters equipped with LNG tank has the function of density measurement, which is used to measure the density of different heights of the tank. The output signal is transmitted to the control room through RS-485 communication protocol.
② Take the following measures to avoid stratification of LNG:
——Before receiving LNG with different densities into the same tank, the analysis is carried out, and the inlet pipeline is selected according to the analysis results;
——The top inlet pipe is used for high-density LNG and the bottom inlet pipe is used for low-density LNG;
——Using pump backflow to mix the upper and lower LNG liquid;
